NVIDIA's RTX Spark laptops went on sale globally on October 16, with nine models from ASUS, Dell, HP, Lenovo, Microsoft, and MSI starting at $2,599, including the Dell XPS 16 and Microsoft Surface Laptop Ultra. The Grace Blackwell superchip, built with MediaTek, delivers up to 1 petaflop of FP4 AI performance and up to 128GB unified memory; NVIDIA says this lets a laptop handle tasks previously requiring a desktop workstation. Designs reach as thin as 14mm and as light as three pounds with all-day battery life. Adobe Photoshop and Premiere offer native RTX Spark support through beta releases, and hundreds of games run on RTX Spark with DLSS, ray tracing, Reflex, and G-SYNC.
On the software side, Nemotron 3.5 Transcribe, Liquid AI LFM3 models, and a PyTorch CUDA build for Windows on Arm shipped at or around launch. A new resource management feature in the NVIDIA App lets RTX Spark users shift GPU priority between foreground applications and background AI agents, accessible under System > Advanced and requiring hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling in Windows Settings. Black Forest Labs' FLUX 3 Image Klein, a 5.6B-parameter image generation and editing model, runs on RTX Spark with NVIDIA-optimized versions requiring as little as 8GB VRAM and can be fine-tuned locally using an NVIDIA NeMo AutoModel recipe.
